caroline + pete’s custom rings
Congratulations to long-time clients and friends Caroline + Pete who are hitting their one-year anniversary! We have had so many compliments on the couple’s rings that we thought we would showcase them and their gorgeous New England wedding on our blog!
Pete commissioned Linhardt to design an engagement ring with a very delicate pattern found on the ceiling of a temple in India, where the couple travels often. The detailing is so intricate translated in the metal, it is best to see in person – hopefully you can get some idea of it below! The ring was fashioned in Linhardt’s custom mix of 18k “champagne” gold, peppered with tiny diamonds on the underside of the ring with a gorgeous responsibly-sourced round brilliant diamond in the center.
As for Pete’s band, Linhardt used a 17th century samurai-sword decorative technique called “Mokume Gane” to create a swirling pattern of copper and silver, inlaid in a handmade palladium ring to create a lightweight 8mm wide band – all made with recycled metals. (Photos by Shyla)
