Linhardt Gallery NYC
The Linhardt Gallery opened its doors to the public in mid-2008 and carries the Linhardt ready-made line, special one-of-a-kind pieces, an extensive stone collection, a portfolio of past custom work, and a range of other established independent and emerging designers. It is also a meeting place for Linhardt to work on custom jewelry with customers, in addition to being a community gathering place for openings and other events.
The interior of the gallery was designed by Wary Meyers Decorative Arts (link to their book on our web store) who have been long-time friends of Linhardt for years. The interior was built while keeping sustainability in mind - which reflects the eco-friendly philosophy of the jewelry it houses.
The floors and cases were all made with repurposed barn wood from Maine; the vintage mirrors have been salvaged from yard sales, the lanterns are actually planters turned upside-down and wired to illuminate from within, the counter was made entirely from East Village scraps... In the back you can see custom built in storage as well as a small jewelry workshop. The space also serves as a gathering space for the community as often openings and other events are held at this location.
